Routine Maintenance is suitable for standby generator set applied in residential area, building, hospital, office unit, the scenic area, factory and the area which is rarely black out.
Routine Maintenance： every six months or one year base on daily maintenance
1、Check the genset water, battery,oil and air completely
2、Genset non-load running test for 5 to 10 minutes sothat it can has sufficient lubrication. Estimate the Genset status by listen,inspection,smell and other methods.
3、Replace element of air-filter,diesel-filter,oil-filter,water-filter, oil-water separator and other consumptive material.
4、Replace coolant or protector inside the radiator
5、Infill battery fluid or aqua distillate
6、Double check the genset after maintenance and clean it
7、Genset non-load running test for 5 to 10 minutes and record every parameter, and put forward valuable suggestions to customers;
Technical maintenance is suitable for long time running genset which applied in construction sites, often blackout factory, load-lack transformer, project testing, no city power area.
Level -A maintenance :(50-80 hours after genset running)base on daily maintenance
1、Clean up the air-filter or replace it if it’s necessary；
2、Replace diesel-filter,air-filter,water-filter
3、Check the drive belt tension
4、Infill lubricant into the genset
5、Replace Coolant.
Level -B maintenance :(250-300 hours after genset running)base on Level -A maintenance
1、Clean up piston,cylinder,piston pin, liner,piston ring,connecting rod bearing and check the wear condition;
2、Check if any looseness occurs at main bearing of rolling
3、Clean up the scale or sediment inside the conduit of coolant.
4、Clean up deposited carbon in the combustor & ventilation flue
5、Check the wear of valve, valve seat,push rod and rocker arm, grind them if it’s necessary.
6、Wash the deposited carbon in the rotor of turbocharger,check the wear of bearing & impeller ,replace it if is necessary
7、Check the bolts that connects alternator and engine, replace themif it’s loose or slippage
Level-C maintenance：（500-1000 hours）base on Level-A & B
1、Check and adjust the injector angle；
2、Wash the fuel tank；
3、Wash the oil pan；
4、Check the atomizing condition of sprayer。
Maintenance Notes
1、he?service personnel should carefully read the Genset Operation and Maintenance Manual provided by manufacturer and arrange the maintenance service according to the requirements of manual;
2、Insulated resistance between the winding and earth should be measured if genset hasn’t worked for long time or being in wet condition. The insulation value should not less than 1.5MΩ. Disconnect the negative terminal of battery before the measurement;
3、Aperiodically clean the dust and oily dirty
4、The generator must not be affected with damp.Metal fragments, moisture and other harmful gas should be prevent form getting into genset .When generator is working , ensures that it is at good ventilation. Any covering is not allowed on the genset surface in case of the cooling and ventilation being affected;
5、The battery should be far away from fire and keep a good ventilation when battery is being charged.
